Big Christmas Cracker Pull 2016 – UPDATE

UPDATE

A BIG THANK YOU to everybody that participated in the Big Christmas Cracker Pull on Saturday.

Unfortunately we did not reach the target of 1,300 to beat the Guinness World Record and get in the record books. We managed just short of 800 people. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves none the less. If you look back at our website towards the end of the week there will be a certificate to download saying that you participated in the event.

Once again, thank you to all that participated and on behalf of Little Chelsea Traders Association we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas !

The Big Christmas Cracker Pull 2016

As part of the Little Christmas In Little Chelsea celebrations, the Little Chelsea Traders Association is attempting to get 1,300 Eastbourne names into the record books.
Assembling at 11am on Saturday 3rd December, participants will create a chain linking arms from Eastbourne Central Library along Grove Road to the Town Hall and down South Street to the Eagle Pub, with Christmas crackers being pulled as the Town Hall strikes its twelfth strike at midday.
The current record is 1,077 simultaneous cracker pullers. Come down and be part of the fun. If the attempt is successfully verified by Guinness World Records, all participants can download a certificate of participation and become an official record holder.
The organisers are looking for 1,300 people, so come down and register at the desk at the stage area by the Town Hall.

Participants and supporters are encouraged to come down on Saturday 3rd December wearing Christmas jumpers and Santa hats to enjoy a cracker of a day in Little Chelsea!

Little Christmas In Little Chelsea 2017

Friday 1 December 4pm-10pm

Little Christmas In Little Chelsea, Eastbourne’s annual Christmas extravaganza, will revert back to one day in its ninth year on Friday 1 December 2017. Little Chelsea Traders Association took the decision after feedback from businesses and street traders who took part over the two day event last year. The fun family event will begin at 4pm on Friday and go on until late, with a host of music, street entertainment, food and drink, late night shopping and market stalls.

More details will be confirmed as we advance with the planning.
